A CONCISE HISTORY OF GERMANY MARY FULBROOK DOWNLOAD FREE
The history covered by the book ends just a few years into the unified Germany. If, like me, the medieval period in Germany is what you're especially interested in, I recommend looking elsewhere. A well-presented short account of a massive amount of history. What initially drew me to it was a similar book from Cambridge University Press on the History of France that I found quite interesting, and both are marketed as textbooks. It only reads as though you are looking through a poorly-done translation.

Prior to this, I have only known the basics about the countries past, mostly about the two world wars. Want to Read saving…. While Fulbrook hits all the high points, she hits them so succinctly that without further background knowledge it may be too difficult to understand. German proponents of fulbgook Aufklarung, while perhaps bad Christians themselves, were by and large conservative and usually quite insightful. Instead you have page-long paragraphs with so much detail that you often turn the I only had to read the first pages of this book for my German History class and to be honest, I would give it 3 stars or lower if it was so well-researched.
